Take a Hike
• Grab your partner for an adventure outdoors while the weather is nice by going for a long hike. The exercise will invigorate you and the two of you can enjoy the peacefulness nature has to offer. Take quiet moments to reflect at points of beautiful lookouts and enjoy the scenery as you connect on a deeper level.
Pack a Picnic
• Pack a lunch to go and save on dining out expenses. Take a drive out to the country or the seaside and stretch out on a blanket to relieve some stress and relax. Packing your own picnic meal will encourage you to be creative and eat healthier than you would if you went to a restaurant.
Movie Night In
• Rent a movie at your local movie store or from your cable provider for an in-home theater experience. Light some scented candles to set a romantic atmosphere and enjoy some fresh popcorn for an enjoyable cost friendly evening for the two of you.
Cruise a Local Art Gallery
• Check your local city or town newspaper or website for art gallery tours and events. Many art galleries offer complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvre evenings to help promote a new up and coming artist. Take a tour of local pottery and painting studios for a unique experience you are both sure to remember.
Campout
• Set up a tent in your backyard for a fun night under the stars without the true camping sacrifices (go inside to make s'mores in your microwave). Tell each other fun stories from your childhood and learn, in the serene setting of the outside air, things you may not have otherwise talked about. In the morning, wake up early and check out the sunrise.
