Recently David Letterman apologizes to Sarah Palin for a-rod joke.

What was he joke about?

Just he made the statement that Gov. Sarah Palin's daughter had been "knocked up" by A-Rod at a Yankees game by a baseball player.

This single statement put him on hot news. And his reactions were

I told a bad joke. I told a joke that was beyond flawed, and my intent is completely meaningless compared to the perception," he said on Monday's show. "And since it was a joke I told, I feel that I need to do the right thing here and apologize for having told that joke.

It's not your fault that it was misunderstood, it's my fault that it was misunderstood, he said.

So I would like to apologize, especially to the two daughters involved, Bristol and Willow, and also to the governor and her family and everybody else who was outraged by the joke. I'm sorry about it and I'll try to do better in the future.

If someone else said so then it won't be a hot pickup.

Well, I think the joke was really in a bad taste. Letterman said, he thought it was 19-yr old Bristol at the yankees game, and not the 14-year old Willow :banghead: . So whatttt??? It was a cheap joke regardless of who it was meant to be for.

Althoug, I am not a great fan of hers, but I think, Sarah Palin, being a protective mother stepped up to the plate and defended her daughter, very rightly so. No woman in her right mind would tolerate such immaturity .... :angryfire:

YOU GO SARAH PALIN ... :fingure: :guitar: :trumpet: :bndance:

Very very bad move Letterman .... :nono:
