What is there to LOLOL? Was this a genuine question? I can answer if yes. 
I guess, it is a personal choice. If you like skinny girls, others might LOLOL at you, asking questions like, why do dudes like skinny women. So, please do not judge your friend. It is their personal choice, and they are not asking YOU to date fat (  whatever that means) women.
